Ti Kwan Yin Emerald

Ti Kwan Yin Emerald

We’ve specifically chosen this unique oolong from China’s Anxi county for many reasons. Once infused, the uniformly twisted leaves open to reveal whole, large, fluffy green leaves. The brew itself offers an earthy, musty green aroma but delivers a prominent silky texture upon entering the mouth. It’s a complex tea with multi-hued flavor profiles of peaches and honey. Sweet and aromatic, you’ll find a surprising creamy note in the lingering finish. Legend: There was a poor but devout farmer. One night a spirit visited him in his dream and told him where to locate a gift that he was then to generously share with the world. That following morning, he went to the location and found a tea plant like he had never seen. Over time, he cared for and nurtured the plant, discovering that it produced the finest leaves for tea which he had ever tasted. He then shared the seeds and cuttings with his fellow farmers and thus this traditional tea made its mark in history forever.
